Great nature and refreshing on hot days. I strongly recommend sturdy shoes, because you should be sure-footed here.

  • Due to the many roots and heels, it is recommended - especially in wet conditions - to walk up the path through the Höllschlucht.
You will be rewarded with great views!

  • The Hell Gorge is very impressive. The paths are sometimes very steep and slippery. The landscape is beautiful, like in a fantasy film. You'd think an orc would come out from the next tree or rock.

  • The trail is quite steep and in my opinion quite difficult to commit. Often there are slippery stones or you have to balance over dense root system. Fortunately, pegs are usually attached to which one can hold on well. In addition, in places that are not secured by railing ropes are present. After the steep descent you will be rewarded even more with the wild and romantic waterfall. We recommend. I would recommend, as the previous speakers have recommended, the way through the gorge as a climb and the meadow path again as a descent. Should make it a whole lot easier.

  • Beautifully scary crevice with wall inscription. Not far from the path to the Hölltal.

  • Very adventurous descent into the Hell Gorge.
Partly very steep. Good footwear is compulsory and hiking sticks make a lot of sense. It goes over hill and dale down into the Hell Gorge with a very impressive nature.

  • Hike for the whole family, first on a wide forest path, then over roots and stones, a section is secured with a wire rope - but not dangerous

  • After the big waterfall it gets very steep with many steps. The path leads to the Kappeler Alpe. Very exhausting but rewarding.

  • Worthwhile way through a narrow gorge with waterfalls. Some of the torrent is squeezed in concrete. Sure-footedness and suitable footwear required.

  • Run in bad weather. Sure-footedness and a thirst for adventure are recommended ... and the pants should be allowed to get dirty :-)

  • On the descent from the Kappler Alp to the Grundhütte you can take the Wiesenweg or the Höllenschlucht. The Höllenschlucht is a beautiful path through the forest but also more difficult to walk because it only goes over roots and stones.
