Not far from the bear hole lies the so-called Hexentanzplatz. This is a small square, framed by sandstone cliffs, on the top of a small mountain. Along a stream, a narrow path leads up from the lake. Huge trees grow on the slopes of the valley. A small pond blends harmoniously into a wild and romantic gorge. At the top you will find a place surrounded by large rocks. The forest around the Hexentanzplatz consists of tall, straight-grown trunks and it is easy to imagine how the witches gather here on Walpurgis Night.
