One of the stations on the heritage Bluebell Railway, which now runs from East Grinstead to Sheffield Park. Kingscote used to be the northern limit of the railway, until the link with East Grinstead was made, and its been renovated with a 1959s theme.

This is perhaps one of the most beautiful and scenic stations I have seen in the UK. While it really feels its part of a film noir, it is pretty functional.

There is a station Refreshment Room offering Tea, coffee and snacks available from Spring until Autumn in “The Well House” alongside the picnic area on platform 2. There is also a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities are available on platform 1. You can check the train times to nearby destinations as well.

Kingscote railway station is a preserved railway station on the heritage Bluebell Railway, located in West Sussex, England and yet entirely functional.

Picnic Area
A fantastic picnic area is available behind platform 2, ideal for kids to let off some steam and to watch the trains come and go.

Children’s play area
A children’s play area is available is situated next to the picnic area.

Station Refreshment Room
There are tea, coffee and snacks available from Spring until Autumn in “The Well House” alongside the picnic area on platform 2.
