    The small branch chapel in Dobel was built in 1794 in the courtyard of the farm, which bore the saint's name St. Wolfgang, after the death of the farm owner Josef Stör by his wife Maria Anna Stör (now Stöhr) at their own expense and initiative.

    The small, 22 kg bell is located on the roof under an open, domed turret. It was poured in 1794 by J. Daniel Schmeltz in Biberach and consecrated by the Abbot of Marchtal. The legend was that the "bell" contains silver and when rung in a thunderstorm, offers a special protection against hailstorm.
