This small tower is part of the heath path - a small path in the nature reserve "Gohrischheide and Elbniederterrasse Zeithain", which is otherwise not allowed to be entered. On May 2nd, 2015, a 2.6 km long heath path was opened in the northeast of the protected area. Where the runway for military aircraft used to be more than two decades ago, you can now admire heathland. From the viewing platform, your gaze can wander over blooming gorse bushes.
