Monheim is a town in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries and the seat of the administrative community Monheim.
Monheim was born in 7./8. Century. In 870 the Benedictine monastery was founded in the village. The elevation of Monheim to the city was carried out by the Counts of Oettingen before the year 1340.
