Well-preserved remnants of the Höcker line, also called dragon's teeth, from the Second World War can be found along the entire former western wall. The Siegfried Line was built in the time of National Socialism and represented a gigantic defensive system. It consisted mainly of anti-tank traps and bunkers, of which many remains can still be found as memorials and silent witnesses of a terrible time in the border area. This anti-tank barrier is located directly on today's Kyll cycle path.

These are parts and remnants of the anti-tank obstacles from the West Wall. Unfortunately, a not so nice part of German history is part of it. Definitely worth seeing for a short stop.
