How did people actually live here earlier in the Black Forest? In this open-air museum, you can feel it up close. There are old parlors, barns, mills and saws - just like you have lived here in the last 400 years. An exciting journey through time awaits you here. The farms shown were "collected" throughout the Black Forest, i. mined and rebuilt here - impressive

Very worth seeing old farms from the Black Forest. It's amazing how people lived and worked in the farms for centuries.

The Black Forest Museum is extremely impressive. It is very big, well maintained and extremely informative. Detailed signage accompanies the whole museum and in some houses even old crafts are maintained. It is really worth seeing, you can spend good all day here.
