The Blumenthalsche Haus (formerly Hofgärtnerhaus) was built around 1800 for the court gardener.
Since the 1850s it was inhabited by the Jewish family Blumenthal. Here Simon Blumenthal founded in 1852 the first private bank in the city.
Today it includes a restaurant.
