You won't see this view during summer and late spring! The trees grow densely along the path. I recommend doing the hike in early spring or winter when sunny.

Lake Ägeri is the largest lake located entirely in the canton of Zug. On the shores of Lake Ägeri are the communities of Oberägeri, in which around 80% of the lake lies, and Unterägeri. The lake lies at an altitude of around 724 metres above sea level (current water level of Lake Ägeri) in the eastern part of Zugerland and is a maximum of 80 metres deep. Lake Ägeri is around five kilometres long and around two kilometres wide. The lake is fed by various streams, with the Hüribach being the main tributary. The Lorze flows out of the lake, which lies around ten kilometres east of Lake Zug.
