Riet Castle is privately owned and cannot be visited, but it is also nice to see from the outside. It was handed down to the Hohenstaufen as a moated castle as early as the 12th century. In the 15th century, the massive basement floors were probably built on the remains of this castle, which were supplemented by four corner towers and two half-timbered floors in the 16th century.
