The Sambre (Dutch: Samber) is a 193-kilometer-long river in France (88 km) and Belgium (105 km). Below its source in the northern French department of Aisne, it crosses the Nord department, enters Belgium near Jeumont, and flows into the Meuse near Namur as its largest left tributary.
