Since 2020, there has been a new cable car that goes directly up to the Kölner Hut. This saves you the lengthy climb from the Karer Pass and allows you to immerse yourself directly in the mountain landscape below the Rosengarten. The mountain station is built into the rock and is therefore largely invisible to disturb the landscape as little as possible.
