The Vogtsmühle (also known as the Abbess's Mill, Lorenz Mill, or Breit Mill) passed from the Benedictine convent of Kitzingen to the collegiate church of Birklingen in 1471. It was not until the 18th century that the mill was given its current name. The mill ceased operation in 1969.

Location: In the passage of the Einersheim Gate, behind the northern gate wing in front of the northern wall. Legend: During the Thirty Years' War, Swedish troops entered the town through the Einersheim Gate in 1632. A councilman tried to plead for mercy for the town and its inhabitants, but was stabbed by a mercenary. The cross was erected on the spot where he died.

This is the Einersheim Gate in Iphofen. It is one of the four gates of the medieval city fortifications and is still very well preserved. Its solid construction is particularly impressive. Today, it's a great photo opportunity and a good starting point for a stroll through the old town.

The original Beckahans oak tree unfortunately had to be felled due to a wood-boring beetle infestation. A new tree has already been planted a few meters away. The new rest area furniture will be installed at the new tree later this year.
