The Top 13 Gorges in Central Bohemia

The trail starts at the parking lot under Kost Castle and goes all the way to Oborský rybník. On the trail that passes through the Plakánek Valley Nature Reserve, visitors will get to know the surrounding nature at 11 stops.

The river meanders leisurely, the paths are easily developed, but there are beautiful hilly landscapes, idyllic villages and picturesque, rugged rocky landscapes that tower high up from the shore.

Slightly difficult to access rock formations, it is worth looking at. The steps to the top are easy to manage by holding on to the rope, if you have to overcome them first.

Beautiful path along the small river Vrchlice. There are some watermills along the way and you can discover entrances to former mining tunnels. Tables along the way explain the flora and fauna (but only in Czech).

Cundracke udoli or "Old tramp valley" is really nice part of Vltavska kaskada. When you walk here you can feel that old tramp athmosphere. Wood houses, tramps, good people, hills, nice nature etc.
