Chamboux Lake is an artificial lake built in 1984 and therefore a relatively young reservoir. The trail around the lake is a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the water, trees and wildlife.

Artificial lake which can be quickly circumnavigated (by bike or on foot) under shady paths. A beach is equipped for swimming (supervised).
Saw many rabbits during my visit in the early morning.

Small nice sandy beach, directly at the dam. There are changing rooms, a small restaurant on the beach 🏖 and a mobile snack sale at the entrance.

Nice place for a break in the forest

Nice place to stop. You can enjoy the shade of the trees, the picnic table, the bench and the playground provided. The pond next door adds a pleasant charm to the place.
