There are a couple of good routes to the summit of Morven, either from the east or south. Parking to the South at Tulloch church is the best, and the trail to the hill is good, bog free, and peaceful

Craigendarroch Summit

This hill at 402m is Ballater''s local Marilyn and is a short ascent from the town centre. There is easy to follow paths around and up the hill, and the views over Ballater and towards Lochnagar are very good.
