Nice view of Mayschoss. The rusted door is a popular setting for souvenir photos taken by hikers on the Red Wine Trail.

This gem was destroyed by the flood disaster and is no longer passable.

From the refuge Bunte Kuh you have a very nice view of the Ahr valley.

The view from the tower is fantastic. If you are coming from Dernau or Walporzheim, the descent to Rech is recommended. From there the train runs every hour back to the starting point.
