The Bürser Gorge was formed by the interplay of water and ice after the retreat of the glaciers about 10,000 years ago. The Alvierbach stream created a spectacular, almost jungle-like landscape with moss-covered rocks and a rich flora.

The gorge is worth seeing

The passage is called “Kuhloch” and is a former gorge, very impressive.

The Kesselfall waterfall near Brand is a beautiful, thunderous waterfall that plunges through a 40-meter-deep gorge of the Alviersbach stream. It's particularly impressive after heavy rainfall.

Beautiful valley to the Lindauerhütte. You are welcome to linger at the Gauertalhaus and eat well.
