2025_0920_über viele Berge musst Du fahren um zum Hufhaus zu kommen
Der Naturpark Südharz lockt immer wieder, besonders bei diesem grandiosen Wetter. Gestartet sind wir von zu Hause und radelten durch die Windlücke, vorbei an Wasserbüffeln, erntenden Maismonstermaschinen ein Stück über den Karstwanderweg, vorbei am Holzkohlemeilerplatz bis nach Buchholz. It was actually only supposed to be a short ride in the afternoon, but the weather was just too tempting... so we just set off, heading for the Kelbra reservoir. We cycled past our gravel pits to Bielen... here we took the old Leipzig road. In Görsbach we turned off to cycle along the wonderful path

Today, on our way home, we visited the Harzkristall glass factory again. They have constantly changing exhibitions...we love this ancient craft. Admission to the Harzkristall glass factory itself is free, but there's a €3 parking fee, and a single ticket for the interactive tour of the demonstration

Today we were invited to the BluesPub Bad Harzburg. We arrived in the afternoon and explored the town first. Yes, you could say it's quite nice here, and we highly recommend the live music event at the pub.

We'd been planning for a long time, but today it finally worked out, so we headed towards Stolberg. In Heringen we had our first surprise: the level crossing was closed... hmm... so then we continued to the train station, where there's also a crossing over the tracks of the Halle-Kassel railway line

2025_0822_Wo die Hexe tanzt gibt es auch Wölfe
Heute sollte unser vorrangiges Ziel der Tierpark auf dem Hexentanzplatz sein. Nachdem wir erfolgreich einen Parkplatz außerhalb des Hexentanzplatzes gefunden hatten waren wir schon mal happy, dieser war zwar auch gebührenpflichtig aber kostete uns nur 9 Euro, statt 13 Euro direkt auf dem Hexentanzplatz. Von hier aus gab es direkt…
