In this Collection, we show you the ten most beautiful Tours on exciting via ferratas and picturesque hiking trails on the Tyrolean Achensee. The best part: You'll be able to enjoy magnificent views on all of them.

The Achensee, surrounded by the two mountain ranges Rofan and Karwendel, is well-known amongst outdoor lovers as an excellent hiking area with rustic Alpine pastures and paths, from which you can enjoy the view of the deep blue "Tyrolean Sea" and the impressive summits.

310 miles (500 kilometers) of marked and well-maintained hiking trails of all levels of difficulty offer the best conditions for everyone to find their own personal summit happiness and a unique natural experience. The Rofan Mountains in the east of the Achensee are both rugged and gentle. The Karwendel Nature Park in the west, on the other hand, is the largest protected area in the Northern Alps and home to a wide variety of flora and fauna - here you'll find more golden eagles than in any other corner of the Alps.

No matter which route you'll choose—you'll be sure to go on a fun adventure.
