Brent is a fantastic place to explore by bike, with a mix of quiet green spaces, historic waterways like the famous Grand Union Canal, and good links into Central London. Whether you’re a beginner or looking for a relaxed family ride, this Collection of three accessible routes showcases some of the best cycling Brent has to offer.

The first was created by Brent Cycling Campaign (komoot.com/user/2824552278983), and takes you on a gentle ride from Dollis Hill into the City of London, following a mix of quiet streets and cycle lanes for a stress-free journey into the heart of London’s glass-towered financial district.

If waterways are more your thing, the second route comes from local cycling group Brent Joyriders (komoot.com/user/joyriders) and explores the Grand Union Canal from Maida Vale. As working vessels have done for hundreds of years, you’ll follow one of the city’s most peaceful yet vital arteries, winding past houseboats, warehouses and historic locks, always on a dedicated cycle path. Also from Brent Joyriders, the third route explores Brent's best green spaces, linking highlights of the borough, Kilburn, Gladstone Park, Dollis Hill, and other local gems.

Each route is accessible to all levels of cyclists and designed for an enjoyable, traffic-free and varied experience. Whether you’re rediscovering cycling or looking for a new way to explore Brent, there’s a route to suit you.
