In this Collection, we present a selection of varied and entertaining themed trails that introduce you to the wealth of culture St. Gallen boasts. The walks are between 3 and 11 kilometres (2 and 7 mi) and there’s something for everyone, with plenty of exciting things for children to see and do too.

The two textile trails in St. Gallen immerse you in one of Eastern Switzerland’s great industries. On the viticultural trail, you’ll learn interesting facts about Buechberg wine, while on the Art Trail, you’ll discover St. Gallen's artistic highlights. Beyond the city gates, more gorgeous walks await. In Rorschach, you’ll marvel at the city’s historic buildings and stroll along the shores of beautiful Lake Constance. Finally, the walk between tradition and modernity takes you to the favourite haunts of Matthias Hüppi, the president of FC St. Gallen.

Whether you long for fine wines and picturesque vineyards, enjoy letting your gaze wander over Lake Constance, or prefer to learn about haute couture, fine embroidery, and textiles, you’ll find what you’re looking for in and around St. Gallen.
