A hiking trip to the Bregenzerwald is all about reaching summits rather than travelling far. Boasting views across three countries, unforgettable peaks, picturesque alpine pastures and Lake Constance, you don’t have to go far at all to experience adventure. In this Collection, we present seven summit Tours that will boost your fitness and open up your mind to Vorarlberg’s magnificent mountain landscapes, which are sure to inspire and reinvigorate.

The routes vary in difficulty and length and some can be shortened with cable cars if you wish. The ascents of the Renkknies and the Brüggelekopf are suitable for children. However, the other routes require decent hiking experience, surefootedness and a head for heights. Sure, the ascents will be demanding but then there’s no better feeling than standing on a summit, breathing the alpine air and enjoying the views. After all, the staggering panoramas from Bregenzerwald’s peaks stretch far beyond the Alps.

The Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal Guest Card enables you to ride up and down on the mountain railway as often as you like and is also valid for journeys on public buses and for admission to the outdoor pools. You’ll receive the Guest Card free of charge if you spend three or more nights in one of the 28 partner municipalities between 1 May and 31 October 2024. It’s valid from the day of arrival to the day of departure.
