Sundgau is a hiker’s dream. Here, you’ll find a beautiful and accessible landscape that has something for everyone. From the foothills of the Alsatian Jura to the green hills of the valleys of the Ill and the Largue, you’re bound to find a hike that excites you.

In this 'Best of' Collection, we present a selection of the most popular hikes in Sundgau. If you only ever do six hikes in Sundgau, these are the ones to do. Each route reveals picturesque, tranquil landscapes, with marvellous views. For a longer hike, head for the gorgeous forests of the Alsatian Jura in the region’s south. Here, in these characteristic Jura landscapes, you can bathe in the scents of the forest to the soundtrack of birdsong.
