You'll be travelling quickly on this route: you'll follow an old railway line and meander through picturesque valleys on the edge of the Hanf and Pleistal valleys. The starting point is the train station in Hennef. The S12 and S19 will take you there.



The setting of the tour: alternating asphalt and gravel

A relaxed half-day tour or a sporty road bike ride awaits you - it all depends on what you make of it. The tour starts at Roisdorf (Bornheim) train station. The RB26 or RB48 will get you out of Cologne and Bonn quickly.



Your ingredients: a short and sharp climb up to the Voreifel plateau, epic asphalt

How about an overnighter? Or just see how far you can get? On the gently sloping cycle path directly along the Sieg, you can reach car-free beer gardens, cosy bathing areas and campsites. At regular intervals, train stations along the route offer you the opportunity to return by train.

Not what you might think, but definitely green: On this route you drive along the Hanfbach. A quiet country road with a few tough forest path sections takes you through the relaxed valley. And happiness? Be somewhere completely different and see what happens...

Your agenda: warm up on asphalt on the banks of the Rhine with a view of the Rolandseck - then "ride the volcano" and cruise on over 20 kilometers of winding gravel roads through the Siebengebirge - with the option to stop for refreshments and speedy descents.
