With idyllic villages nestled amongst the hilly landscape and picturesque riverside paths, the Rhineland is a beautiful region. A bike Tour is the best way to explore the region’s special character.

The 14 Tours in this Collection showcase the unique culture in the Rhineland. From world-famous cultural heritage sites like Cologne Cathedral to adventure playgrounds for children, petting zoos, delicious farm shops offering regional delicacies, historic watermills, castles and idyllic villages – the Rhineland has a huge number of treasures to discover. The Tour highlights include videos so that you can get a taste of the exciting places that await you en route. You can look forward to exploring the region in a whole new way.

The stages vary in length from 15 to a maximum of 70 kilometres (9.3 to 43 miles) so there’s something for everyone. The elevation profiles are also different depending on the Tour, tracing flat river banks or undulating through the Bergisches Land. You can easily travel to and from the routes using public transport. There are also numerous inns en route that serve regional specialties. Don’t forget to pack enough water and bring a pannier with you so that you can stock up on some fresh organic fruit and vegetables at the farm shops.
