Stunning mountain panoramas, fresh and clear mountain air, an excellent network of hiking trails, cosy alpine huts, and the possibility to get to the top with cable cars and mountain railways – you'll find all this in the hiking region Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in the Austrian Alps.
In this Collection, we've put together seven beautiful walks and hikes between 2 and 12 kilometres (1-7 mi) for you and your family to enjoy. They're mostly on easy paths and don't have any big climbs or descents. Nevertheless, you won't miss out on the thrill of the altitude and the happiness of the summit when you get to the top because the cable cars in the region will take you comfortably to the right height. All you have to do is start hiking.
There's the Smugglers' Trail, for example, which leads you along a narrow ridge through the magnificent landscape, where you can easily imagine why the smugglers took this lonely and secret path. Or themed trails such as the Flower Trail and the nature-themed trail Fisser Gonde. Of course, the kids don't miss out either when they visit the snoring bear and the riddle owl on the Murmli trail. Whichever path you choose, you'll be accompanied by magnificent views, find rustic places to stop for refreshments along the way, and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of the region.
