Cycle around Lake Constance, immerse yourself in beautiful vineyards and orchards, soak up Alpine panoramas and watch boats come and go. The Lake Constance Cycle Path has a lot to experience.
The approximately 260-kilometre (161 mi) long cycle path takes you around the entire Lake Constance and through three countries: Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The German Bicycle Association (ADFC) awarded the route four stars, which means you can look forward to well-developed routes and great infrastructure.
In this Collection, we present the complete Lake Constance Cycle Route, divided into five stages. Each leg is around 50 kilometres (31 mi) long and mostly flat, which gives you enough time to enjoy the countless highlights along the way like romantic old towns, fairytale castles and beautiful beaches. If you want to take your time, you can also cycle the route in eight stages, around 30 to 40 kilometres (18 - 25 mi) long. No matter which variant you choose, it’ll be an unforgettable experience.
You have a wide choice of accommodation en route, such as guesthouses, hotels and campsites. Your physical well-being is also well catered for with numerous places to stop for refreshments.
You can easily reach the route and return home by train to and from Constance. If you want to shorten the Tour, you'll also pass railway stations and harbours along the way.
