From the border triangle near Aachen to the Grosser Arber, the king of the Bavarian Forest: BIKE editor Stefan Loibl will be riding his mountain bike across Germany from May 2019 for the "Germany Trail" project - in search of the best single trails. And you can be there! Follow his tour via live tracking or social media, give tips on the best route or accompany him on a section if he passes near you.

The planned route leads from west to east, over well-known low mountain peaks and past biker hotspots. After a day in the Eifel, it goes past Bonn to the Hochsauerland for the BIKE Festival in Willingen. From there to the MTB Mecca Winterberg and over the Rothaargebirge and the Westerwald to the Grosser Feldberg in the Taunus. The destination of the first part is the Bad Orb Trail Center in the Spessart. The second part starts in July 2019 and ends at the Großer Arber in the Bavarian Forest. But this route is by no means fixed, it only serves as a rough guide. Support Stefan, because only with the help of local bikers can he find the most beautiful paths!

Thanks for the tip, Mauriceke. But the tour is called "Germany Trail" ;-). It is also long enough. But I write that on my to-do-list. Have heard of it several times ...

Yes, it was a nice up and down today. But the weather has been except for a brief shiver, but it was cold. Thanks again for the company yesterday! Greetings from Schmallenberg

Gladly, I'm glad. My plan is, on 18.5. to start from Willingen and drive to Winterberg, of course with a final round through the trail park.

Yeah, then you have to come with me to show me the right runs. Or you can send me a track according to your ideas.
