From 26th to 28th June the G7 Summit took place in Elmau, Upper Bavaria, as it did seven years ago. So, we decided to give you tips for challenging mountain Tours in the wider area under the motto: Go 7 Summits. You’ve got to earn the breathtaking views from the tops, as the mountain Tours require surefootedness and endurance. In return, you’re rewarded with incredible natural highlights such as waterfalls, colourful alpine meadows and, of course, magnificent panoramas.

Every Bavarian summit climb must include a stop in a hut or inn. On some Tours, you pass rustic alpine huts en route, while on others, you can relax and recharge your batteries at the end. So how many summits can you manage and which ones will you choose?

By the way: you can find more suggestions and information about family-friendly Tours, hikes to seven peaks with particularly beautiful views, Tours with huts for foodies, special mountain railway experiences, and seven of the most beautiful mountain villages for climbers at erlebe.bayern/geh–7–gipfel.
