Your heart pounds as you reach the summit plateau. It shimmers in the sun and you look down from the edge of the mountain to the landscape below. The way up here was tough, but worth every metre of elevation if only because of the unbelievably varied nature you ran through. The feeling of freedom that spreads through you is unbelievable; you only truly experience something like this when trail running, don't you think?
We prefer to go exploring on the alpine meadows and scree fields instead of plodding along the tarmac roads. Prancing along endless forest paths, sometimes without even meeting a soul. That's what trail running is all about for us.
With this Collection, we send you on your next run. Challenging trails of varying length in Flims, Laax and Falera make this region a paradise for runners. We provide a taste of it in this lovingly compiled Collection of spectacular runs.
Not enough for you? Then we'll also set you a little challenge: from 1 July to 23 October 2022, you can collect your personal running trophies on 15 selected trail running routes in the region and the goal is to get as many as possible. The Segnesboden loop, which is also part of this Collection, is one of these trails. You can find more information here: trailtrophy.ch/die-trophy.
Perhaps you’re new to trail running. That’s no problem, as long as you want to learn! You can do this on two different dates in the middle of Flims. Find more information here: graubuendentrailrun.ch/lets-trail.
All that's left is to lace up your running shoes and go! See you in Flims, Laax and Falera.

Belmont is the name of the ruins of a rock castle north-east of Flims, spectacularly located on a 50 meter high rock, high above the road from Trin to Flims. If you come to the area, a visit to the 1,420 meter high power place is a must. How practical, then, that this trail leads right past it.

A relaxed round, which is also suitable for trail running newcomers, takes you to the picturesque widths of Lake Cauma. Deep turquoise water and lots of untouched greenery have earned the course the nickname "Caribbean of the Alps". Rightly so, as you will no doubt soon find out.
