These seven circular routes show you Hesse's diversity by combining creativity, industrial heartlands, delicious culinary stops, and expanses of secluded nature. Your soul will be fed in a different way depending on the route you take. For example, riding to Mount Feldberg via Frankfurt and the Taunus Hills combines urban environments with green landscapes. With a mixture of tarmac and forest trails, this ride is perfect for cross and gravel bikes. On the other hand, the 100-kilometre (62 mi) route in Kasselaska in northern Hesse was designed for ambitious road cyclists and includes 1,200 metres (3,940 ft) of climbing.

The distances of each of the seven stages in this Collection range from 50 to 100 kilometres (31 - 62 mi) with 500 to 1,200 metres (1,640 - 3,940 ft) of elevation gain.
All routes have been scouted and ridden by the Offenbach Gelato Riding Club and include recommendations and insider stories on exciting culinary stops, creative spaces and sights.

Starting point at the Vöhl - Herzhausen stop

When you walk around the shore of the Costa Edersee you penetrate into almost forgotten Hessian natural areas. Such undisturbed forest and water is a rare sight for people from the metropolitan areas of the Main and Rhine. The approximately 52 kilometers run

We start at Kassel train station on a challenging racing bike tour that can be ridden in both directions.

We begin feudally and cycle along the most beautiful parks: on the Karlsaue landscape garden with the Bugasee, the Schönfeld park with rose garden follows, before we swing up to the biggest sight

A demanding mountain bike or gravel tour that starts in Fulda. We leave the city behind us quickly and drive straight into nature, which is a little reminiscent of the Allgäu: rolling hills, fields with endless views and densely wooded single trails. One or the other river crossing is also waiting for

Good Old Odenwald. This route has history and a lot of gradients to offer: Good legs are beneficial for the tour. We start at the train station in Erbach and immediately climb north over the Mossauer Höhe. We continue through the Weschnitz Valley, which is part of the Bergstrasse / Odenwald Geo-Nature

The starting point of this continuously paved tour is the Ufercafé in Marburg. In the smart café right on the Lahn you can not only get excellent meals, there is even a boat and bike rental.

After a short stretch around the banks of the Lahn, it goes up into the hills. There are some hills to conquer

Fantastic paths over the Saalburg to the Feldberg. If you haven't been here for a long time, you will hardly recognize the Taunus. Due to the significant loss of trees

The route is planned as a MTB route, but is also suitable as a gravel route. It contains a few trails with a maximum of S1 difficulty. This adventure starts in Bad Nauheim on the station forecourt. Here you can have another cup of coffee and watch the art on the square before you set off on 70% unpaved
