It goes up to the Eifelblick "Belvedere", where there is a fantastic view of the imposing Manderscheid castles. The circular route continues to the foot of the impressive fortresses. The Biederburg bridge on the third Lieserpfad stage has been destroyed. The diversion over parts of the Eifel-Ville-Weg still makes your Lieserpfader experience possible. The diversion of the third stage presented here is not signposted! We strongly recommend that you carry a hiking map with you to the information here in Komoot. The diversion is easy to understand on both the Eifelverein hiking map no. 24 "Wittlicher Land / Tor zu Eifel and Mosel" and hiking map no. 33 "Vulkaneifel around Manderscheid" in a scale of 1: 25,000. The cards are available from the tourist information offices in Daun, Manderscheid and Wittlich and from your local bookstore. The diversion without visiting the monastery in Himmerod has a total length of around 26 km and leads through Karl. Here you have the opportunity to share your stage. In Großlittgen, approx. 1.5 km away, you have access to public transport. The travel times of the Großlittgen - Manderscheid or Wittlich buses can be found on the website of the Trier transport region: vrt-info.deThe longest stage of the Lieser path leads on narrow, rocky paths through dense forests and over bright clearings. The recurring spectacular viewpoints are breathtaking. The third and longest stage starts a few meters behind the Kurhaus in Manderscheid with impressive views of Oberburg and Niederburg, bathed by the Lieser. The path leads over bridges and wooden paths along steep slate cliffs. Again and again, well-kept huts invite you to take a relaxing break. Then the path leads down to the river and past various mills. At the end of this section, Wittlich's picturesque market square awaits.Highlights along the way:
      ➔ Manderscheider castles
➔ Schmitthütte lookout point with Pellenz pulpit
      ➔ Castle hill near Karl
➔ Alte Pleiner Mühle (currently unavailable)

This rambling, 23-kilometer circular hiking trail lives up to its name. In addition to beautiful natural landscapes, idyllic brook valleys and unique viewpoints, the hike is characterized by old mills along the edge of the path - visit the rustic Immerather mill. There is also an extension of the Mühlenweg, for example via the connection to the Wendelinus or Lavaweg.

The hike leads around Hasborn, Ober- and Niederscheidweiler and is a real surprise tour. Pure nature experiences await the hiker here. The hike in the area between the Lindenhof in Niederscheidweiler and Hasborn takes on an almost alpine character. The land around Ober- and Niederscheidweiler is characterized by Devonian bedrock. The steep slopes are covered with wild forests; the plateau is mostly used for agriculture. The two neighboring stream valleys, the Alf and Sammetbachtal valleys are real insider tips for hikers and nature lovers. The murmur of the two streams, which are almost constant companions, can be heard again and again on the way.Highlights along the way:
      ⇨ Hotel-Restaurant Oberscheidweiler-Mühle
⇨ St. Hubertus village church, Niederscheidweiler
⇨ Hasborner Sauerbrunen and oak grove
⇨ old St. Rochus chapel and new St. Rochus church

True to the pilgrim motto: The journey is the goal, the Eifel Pilgrim Cycle Path leads from Himmerod Monastery via the pilgrimage site of Klausen to Maring-Noviand.The cycle path leads through small Eifel villages, through shady forests and past small chapels and numerous crossroads. From Klausen, the Eberhards pilgrim cycle path leads to the Siebenborn monastery in Maring-Noviand, where it connects to the Maare-Mosel cycle path. The elevation profile shows that the path is demanding, but the effort is worth every effort.
      E-bikes are definitely recommended!
However, we would like to point out that the tour has a varied route and partly leads over gravel and natural, as well as paved paths and road sections.

Whether partner swing, water adventure or barefoot path - there is something for young and old on the parcours of the senses!15 stations invite you to go on a journey of discovery through your own body and its five senses.Let the labyrinth stimulate you to pause and think, experience on the partner swing how forces influence each other and let the touch gallery show you once again how enormously important our hands and fingers are.The highlight in the village is the school museum, which was brewed around 1760-1770 and is probably the oldest surviving schoolhouse in the Vulkaneifel district. Let yourself be taken on a journey into the past and take a seat on the old benches in the classroom. The circular path of the course follows the paths in beautiful Immerath and leads up to the hill to the maar, where the stations of the barefoot path and the labyrinth are embedded in a wonderful landscape. A detour to the Immerather Maar (approx. 0.5 km from the labyrinth) is worthwhile.Highlights:⇨ Immerath School Museum

The Mühlen- und Maarweg starts at the Lutzerath Tourist Information Center and leads from Lutzerath through the romantic Ueßbachtal, along historical mills to the Immerather Maar.On the Lutzerather Höhe you can enjoy the wide view over the Vulkaneifel. From the Nehrother Kopf you can let your gaze wander over the Hohe List and the Daun observatory to the Hochkelberg. This is followed by the descent into the wildly romantic Ueßbachtal, which gently rustling shapes the landscape of the Vulkaneifel. The path follows the course of the Ueßbach river and passes two historic mills that testify to bygone times. The Neumühle and Immerather Mühle are both former water mills. The Neumühle houses a small café, which is open from Friday to Sunday and invites you to take a leisurely break with coffee and cake. The Mühlen- und Maarweg then turns into the Wendelinusweg and then continues through the Maarbach valley to the idyllic Immerather Maar.
