La Fouly (1600m)



At kilometer 111 of the UTMB®, this small Swiss village is the gateway to the Grand Col Ferret (2,537m), the race’s highest pass. A zigzag climb of nearly 1,000 meters rewards you with truly breathtaking views.

Col du Bonhomme (2329m)



At kilometer 43 of the UTMB®, this isn’t the highest pass but it boasts the greatest ascent. Starting from Saint Gervais or Les Contamines, the toughest stretch comes after La Balme—but the reward is superb singletrack and sweeping alpine views.
