Start unserer Wanderung war das Kloster Breitenau, seit 1984 Gedenkstätte, beschrieben bei meiner Wanderung am 14.2. 2025. Wir gehen den Weg oberhalb der Fulda, Richtung Ellenberg. Vor dem Ort geht es runter nach Büchenwerra (Einkehrmöglichkeit). Dort überqueren wir die Fulda und folgen ihr bis nach Guxhagen. Die Wege waren wegen Schnee und Eis teilweise etwas glatt.

Today Ulli is accompanying me to Rotenburg/Fulda. We start at 8:30 a.m. in Edermünde. Soon we are on the R1 Fulda cycle path, towards Melsungen. Between Guxhagen and Körle I take the road, 5 km.
I wanted to avoid the hill in Grebenau, Ulli takes the regular route, which is a bit longer. We meet again
