Back from vacation and after a month without cycling, it's time to get moving again.
Nothing planned, we'll keep it simple and head off on a familiar route, the classic Ourcq/Marne combo. The landscapes have been seen and seen again, but I'm motivated by a carrot at the end of the road: the desire to

Yes, we're returning to the banks of the Yerres, but this time, we're heading to the previously unexplored section.
I was already familiar with the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges - Boussy-Saint-Antoine section, but I hadn't gone any further yet.
The idea for this route came to me from Adrien de Odos's "Les gu

But also religious buildings and retina-destroying panoramas.
My driving force is discovering things to see. And, on this occasion, I've been spoiled.
Having explored the length and breadth of the outskirts of Paris, I'm having trouble motivating myself.
The solution: expand the perimeter. I've had this

Today I'm taking the Bikettes to discover some must-see spots in the southwest region around Paris.
An outing that combines discoveries made during several excursions, plus an extension in "new" mode.
A varied route that's sure to amaze.
Today's itinerary:
- the Bois de Boulogne
- the Avre footbridge

@Jerin, a colleague from Bikettes, is offering those who are motivated a loop of the Ourcq-Marne Canal with a connection via the Promenade de la Dhuis.
I know the route by heart, having done it dozens of times, so at first glance, I'm not particularly keen.
What's more, the region is on yellow alert for

It's Saturday, it's hot, and the trend is more toward making Turkish delight on the couch than going out to exercise.
No outing planned for tomorrow with the Bikettes. But what? Are we going to stew in the apartment?
No way!
Without hesitation, I make a small, carefully planned trail that I suggest to the

After the reconnaissance in April with Michael de Ville Hybride and @lpietri, on a map of the latter, the day of the official launch arrived.
A great success, with 60 people attracted by this offer.
A magnificent day with a great atmosphere.
On the agenda for today's discoveries:
- the banks of the Seine

A few kilometers to reach Limoges train station, where my journey ends.
The Vélidéale continues for another 80 km to Lake Vassivières, but the heat and the elevation gain aren't very motivating, especially since I'd already passed the lake in September.
The official route suggests doing the route in the

There are days like that, when the drizzle forecast by Météo France turns into heavy rain and doesn't exactly encourage you to venture outside.
These days are becoming increasingly frequent in winter, not to mention the night that arrives just in time for afternoon tea.
Fortunately, in anticipation of
