The mtb has been on the back burner just latley with all the rain and trying to keep fitness up in the gym,,So it was another hike in the welsh mountains today..started off misty at the top but cleared after about an hour to reveal the views then an incoming storm came in...it went from a breeze with clear views To a full on blizzard with high wind and snow and no visibility within minutes ,,,it was a pretty drama filled day but all good fun

Booked the day of work to do Snowdon with it's first snowfall,,, absolutey perfect conditions blue sky, no wind and a route mainly too myself....cloud cover came in as I went down so glad I did the early morning

Awesome hike today in the calm sunny weather... intended to do the north ridge of tryfan today but didn't see anyone on route and being on my own thought bit risky doing it alone so opted for heather terrace to the south side... The photos never do these places any justice as to how stunning it is..you simply have to be there

Great weather today for a hike in the mountains with little to no wind..headed for tryfan north ridge but couldn't find a parking spot so had to park near pen Y pass and hike over to tryfan south ridge ...didn't manage to get to the summit as the time was getting on so turned back as I didn't want to risk last park of the hike in the dark....

Plenty of climbing on this route made for some heavy breathing and weird noises I don't normally make....also quite a few jets flying overhead today which are always an awesome sight
