Set off early this morning for Snowdon PYG track, on the way up pen Y pass cars were getting stuck in the snow and even being abandoned, the route upto where crib goch starts was pretty straight forward and already had quite a few people on it but this all changed around 300 meters from the ridge, the gusts of wind were stirring up the fresh powered snow and when it hit you're face it stung like hell and you couldn't see anything, gotta say fair play to anyone who did it today as it was hard going on that section...got some nice sunrise pics aswell

First hike of the year and it was a bit of a gruella, straight away as I set off it started snowing and the higher I got the wind picked up to the point where it was horrendous sideways snow and visibility was virtually zero, luckily for me about 200 meters from the top the storm passed and the clouds parted to reveal the stunning views. Awsome

Can't believe this weather at the minute,,it's cold with a ENE wind but it's absolutely stunning with blue clear skies, perfect for the hike today on nantlle Ridge and through bedgellert forest

The mtb has been on the back burner just latley with all the rain and trying to keep fitness up in the gym,,So it was another hike in the welsh mountains today..started off misty at the top but cleared after about an hour to reveal the views then an incoming storm came in...it went from a breeze with clear views To a full on blizzard with high wind and snow and no visibility within minutes ,,,it was a pretty drama filled day but all good fun

Booked the day of work to do Snowdon with it's first snowfall,,, absolutey perfect conditions blue sky, no wind and a route mainly too myself....cloud cover came in as I went down so glad I did the early morning

Awesome hike today in the calm sunny weather... intended to do the north ridge of tryfan today but didn't see anyone on route and being on my own thought bit risky doing it alone so opted for heather terrace to the south side... The photos never do these places any justice as to how stunning it is..you simply have to be there
