Veringenstadt has been on my list forever.
Veringenstadt is mainly known for the witch trial in 1680 against Anna Kramer, called Bader-Ann.
There were many witch trials, but here in the town hall from 1415, which has been the seat of the city administration continuously to this day, the official protocol

Along the Traufgang "Zollernburg-Panorama", you either go along the steep cliff edge with (unfortunately very overgrown) viewpoints into the depths/distance, or across meadows to the next cliff edge. The highlight, besides the Maultaschen at the end, was of course the postcard view from the Zeller Horn

Short detour to the Dreiländereck D / CH / F near Weil am Rhein.

The bus from the morning hike back to St.Märgen did not go through Jostal, but through Langenordnachtal, a neighboring valley, named after the small stream Ordnach. The place Langenordnach is a scattered settlement, farms that are spread throughout the valley. Got off at Balzenhof and walked to Jostal to the holiday apartment.

On the last day in the Black Forest, once again on different paths to St.Märgen, partly because it is a beautiful valley to hike through, and because the tour with its length and difficulty harmonizes wonderfully with the heat😎. Today we also had time for the monastery church and the Ohmenkapelle.

Now I've finally made it to the source of the Brigach, the second, smaller headstream of the Danube. But how sad, completely dried up 😧. It's located on a farm with holiday apartments and isn't particularly beautifully designed either.

It's going to be hot today, so we took the bus up to the B500 at half past seven, to then walk back to the holiday apartment through the Jostal. Very scenic hike with great distant views of St. Märgen, Freiburg and the Vosges, the Feldberg and the Belchen. And of course, beautiful views into the valley

A combination of the Traufgänge "Hexenküche" and "Wacholderhöhe" with a bit of freestyle in between to connect the tours.
The "Hexenküche" tour leads to the southern tip of the Ebinger Schloßberg with views
