Small loop around Oelnitz in Vogtland: along the Pirk reservoir, Weiße Elster river and the Raschauer Dorfbach stream to Voigtsberg Castle. After a short stay, through Oelnitz to the bus station.

Last stop for today: Bad Brambach, the southernmost municipality in Saxony, a mineral spa town and known for its radon springs.
Rain was forecast, but it was enough for a short round through the historic spa park. Behind the spa park pond was the Wettin spring, the strongest radon spring in the world

Second stop today was Bad Elster with one of Germany's oldest mineral and mud spas. But it was quite desolate, nothing going on except in the immediate vicinity of the springs and the spa building. The park areas looked unkempt, only the light, air, and swimming pool was impressive.
