Today with slight adjustments and taste samples of forest soil and blackberry tendrils. The newly discovered trail along the Sülz is fun, let's see if we can defuse the second stream a little. So far it's been a pretty rough jump.

It was time to fine-tune the home trail a bit. Already mentally extended by a nice new loop ...

To the highest mountain in Cologne, completely without aids. A tough fight that ended at the arctic water step. 😁

Just the right weather to try out the new Mudhugger on the rear wheel. And what should I say? Ugly? But yes! Effectively? But something of !!
After almost 20km of slush and all kinds of liquid mud, my back was completely dry. Never had such ingenious protection. How it looks with normal SKS can be seen in the pictures 😬😁
Otherwise a wild ride over snow-covered paths and the bikes often wanted to give their own direction. That was real MTB rodeo today 🤠🤠

The battery management worked sloppily for both of them today and so it was a somewhat shortened tour. It was fun anyway, although I don't find the deep, hard-frozen ruts particularly tingling. The Grand Duke of the Royal Forestry Department is also getting worse and worse, sign forest around the Lüderich. At some point he also realizes that he cannot get very far with bans alone. There does not seem to be any interest in togetherness here.
At the end a pretty little trail explored with two exciting stream crossings along the Sülz.

Annual financial statements? Well, let's see. In any case, some of the trails are more reminiscent of motocross slopes after the German championship was held. 😬 Rhenish winter stop 😆

After a long (compulsory) abstinence, drove back to Lüderich today. And what should I say? The bikers obviously agreed with their studs and reopened the old trails almost as well as before 👍😈.

Yay, finally got my battery back and used the perfect weather. I haven't been on the road for a long time and so the missing bridge on the Naafbach has not yet got in my way. So after the exit from the Holzbachtal I was a little perplexed in front of the stream. Briefly thought about alternatives, then turned the engine off and through. That was the plan, but today it was almost knee-deep there and well, finished the rest of the tour with wet shoes and pants 🥶😆
