I strongly recommend a detour to the Mindelsee. The bike path to get there should be finished by now. The once-formed hilly landscape with meadow orchards and relatively small-structured agriculture is great for cycling at any time of the year, and there is less activity than on the Lake Constance cycle path down near the lake.
