Ex Pat from Manchester England. Enjoy running . biking, windsurfing and being out doors with my dog Iska ( a Eurasia in case you ever see us on the trail).
I have been XC riding for some time and would now like to step up to trail riding. including jumps, drops; berms etc..
I have completed the Endless trail in Sissach a few times now, although I have to feel safe but not really "sending" the jumps. I am now working on the Arlesheim trail which I believe is harder. If I can make this , then I will be a happy man.My weapon of choice is a Cube Trail Hard Tail , the 2.6 inch tyres should make up for the lack of full suspension + is super fun to ride.See you on the trail
Thanks to Dominic (Adventure Buke CH - adventure-bike.ch) I had
the confidence to try this path. This was the first time to try the difficult second half of the Gratweg trail. It went well, the hardest point is the transmit section, this requires real brake control + very good brakes but there is a drop that needs some speed ... makes the section very difficult. Super lucky to have survived!
