Galgenvenn: Teiche, Wald, Mücken und Bremsen
Hatte die Runde vor einem halben Jahr schon einmal gemacht. Dieses Mal bestand die Hauptherausforderung in der Insektenabwehr. Autan war denen irgendwie komplett egal. Da wird die Strecke selbst zur Sidequest.

Torfhaus: An St. Andreasberg vorbei nach Braunlage
Heute mal weniger Höhenmeter. Schöne Strecke, von Braunlage kommt man zu jeder vollen Stunde mit dem Bus 820 zurück zum Torfhaus.

Nette Runde, von Ilsenburg aus kommt man mit Bus und Bahn leicht wieder zurück aufs Torfhaus

Torfhaus, Altenau, Wolfswarte, Oderteich
Vielleicht war das für einen Flachländler wie mich doch ganz leicht drüber. Wenn ihr das nachlaufen möchtet: Man kann hier ruhig mal die Trailrunning-Schuhe gegen die Wanderstiefel tauschen, das ist nicht übertrieben. Die Wege sind abwechslungsreich und teilweise auch anspruchsvoll zu gehen. Zumindest neue Geschwindigkeitsrekorde wird man da nicht aufstellen.

Das ist wohl die Standardrunde im Harz, von Torfhaus zum Brocken. Ist eine schöne Strecke, kann man Nachmittags „mal eben“ machen. 😎

The 55km version of the Mammutmarsch Ruhrgebiet. I was carried along by the music of Fanta Vier and the new album by Thomas D.
The loop itself has plenty of asphalt and residential areas - but it's also a densely populated area here. After just half an hour, the group had spread out so well that you could walk reasonably. ;)
