Today we took a look at the Steinreich, at the Bastei parking lot. I can only say small but nice. Sandstone, wood and an artificial stream and a little hermit charm. In addition, many plants, many insects (in a positive way) and good shade to survive even hot days. There is a small restaurant that we didn't try.
Maybe it was due to the corona visitor restriction (tickets can only be ordered online), maybe also because of the bathing weather, in any case it was pleasantly clear.
Definitely a tip for children.

Today we went on a cave and adventure tour and on the whorl. Exciting for children in any case, you can scramble various stones and imagine yourself on the terrace path of the whorl, sometimes in the fern jungle. Boredom occurs so rarely, the little ones' imagination is stimulated well 😆 Every now and then the high spirits have to be slowed down a little, because sometimes it goes along the edge.
Was a nice little round that you can certainly expand (once around the top, once around the bottom).

In advance, it was almost 6km and a relaxed, child-friendly pace .. Komoot and the dancing GPS.At the breakfast table the question came up .. What to do with the weather. So think about it, wednesday and thursday were great in saxon, with the weather maybe not that busy on sunday and the boys wanted to go there again anyway. So off to the family taxi, to Rathewalde and then on foot down the Amselgrund, unfortunately everything is still blocked at the Amselbaude, and the Schwedenlöcher up again. At some point the boys came up with the idea of taking off their shoes and so the three of us had fun as the mud squeezed through our toes. The big one even made it to the parking lot, hats off.
It was just magical, silence, the chirping of birds, the pounding of the rain in the canopy and the mist and cloud swirling around. We were almost to ourselves 😁 Mud is the biggest.

Today it was family again. Along the Geberbach and back across the fields. The children had a lot of fun, there was a lot to discover and they held out very well and only complained when we were almost back 😊
The young cows were also funny, some of them were quite trusting and licked our hands and had a bit of a scratch.
So it was a nice round.

Whatever the reason, the mountain was purple for our youngest. But both of them wanted to go to a volcano, so we went to Wilisch. On the way there was canned goods and sour clover from the forest. And even though it was quite drafty today, there was a soft ice cream at the end.
