The tour was called Traumpfadrunde, but we mostly ran on wide forest roads. But we were actually able to find a few meters of dream paths. Our expectations were a bit high because of the tour name. Nevertheless, it was a nice round. Which is certainly beautiful in spring / summer due to the vegetation awakened from hibernation, especially in Birklergrund.

Great introductory tour into this year's cycling season.
The train went from Hanau to Bad Soden Salmünster and then back to Seligenstadt by bike. There was a stopover in Gelnhausen for the tastiest bratwurst in the area and for a coffee with nice work colleagues in the Gelnhausen branch.A great day 😊6 days ago

The tour took us into the world of the Celts on Glauberg. On the mountain plateau is the Celtic World Path, an archaeological park with information boards, old walls, a viewing platform and some benches that invite you to linger. Again and again you can enjoy the great view of the surrounding villages of the Wetterau, even as far as the Taunus and the Frankfurt skyline (unfortunately not that easy to see in the pictures). From the plateau we went back down after the tour and following the tour we continued towards Düdelsheim with its vineyard, which is also called "the Steinern" because of its huge basalt rocks. There is a wooden observation tower and places to linger. There was almost something magical about this place. Unfortunately, the way there was almost exclusively on asphalt paths, which we didn't like very much, as it is much more pleasant on natural paths. From the Steinern it was first on natural paths towards the starting point. Unfortunately the asphalt dominated again until it was replaced by cobblestones on the last stretch to the barrows.
All in all, it was a nice, interesting lap.February 21, 2021

Presumably the hours of the wonderful winter weather are numbered, so today had to be used again accordingly. Without a doubt, we set off on the Spessart trail from HorbachEven if yesterday's tour is very difficult to top, today's was a beautiful, varied tour with wonderful views as far as the Taunus

Freezing cold with -6 degrees, but it doesn't matter. The sky was blue 🤷🏽♀️. So put on the onion look, make tea (mulled wine was out🤭🤪) and off you go.It was wonderful. I've run the loop several times, always with small changes, but the lake and the tower are a must !!! 😍It was heavenly calm, not a soul on the move, only a few mountain bikers actually met at the summit 🤭 - really crazy, as the paths were all snowy and icy. But everyone as he wants and they always had fun😅.The hut at the mountain inn was actually open and sold freshly grilled sausages and various non-alcoholic drinks.
