Very nice tour with a visit to the Malente wildlife park. This is particularly recommended for children, and admission is free. In Malente you will find everything you need in terms of restaurants. We somehow missed the Holzberg tower, so I can't give any information about it here.

Another tour on my 2025 #bucketlist – from Magdeburg to the Brocken summit. At 122km, it's not a huge distance, but with over 1,000m of elevation gain, it's quite challenging for a flatlander like me, especially since it all comes together at the end.
