Am 18. Januar 2026 führte die traditionelle Wintertour des Mountainbike-Treff Bad Berneck gemeinsam mit Mitgliedern des FGV-Radreferats vom Fichtelsee zur Platte (885 m). Organisiert von Ralf Wittmann erlebten vierzehn Teilnehmende eine eindrucksvolle Winterlandschaft mit bizarr vereisten Bäumen – unterwegs mit Schneeschuhen und Grödeln. Die Route verlief über schmale Pfade am Barfußpfad, durch das Fichtelseemoor und weiter über den Plattensteig bis zur Platte. Nach einer kurzen Rast und dem Genuss der winterlichen Atmosphäre führte der Rückweg über den Höhenweg und Seehaussteig zurück zum Fichtelsee. Bei der abschließenden Einkehr im Gasthaus Specht in Neubau waren sich alle einig, dass es schon überraschend ist, dass um Fichtelberg noch immer schönster Winter ist, während bei uns in Bad Berneck alles wieder grün ist. Die nächste Wintertour des MTB-Treff Bad Berneck findet am 8. Februar 2026 statt und führt mit Tourenskiern und Schneeschuhen zum Sonnenuntergang auf den Ochsenkopf.

MTB-Treff Bad Berneck - Obwohl es schon schnell dunkel wird, sind wir zu zwölft nochmal zu einer schönen Runde über den Bindlacher Berg aufgebrochen. Das Biken in der Dämmerung hatte dabei einen ganz besonderen Reiz. In Kott sind wir dann noch im Biergarten eingekehrt und bei voller Dunkelheit zurückgefahren. Schee wars!

MTB-Treff Bad Berneck - Diese Woche haben wir zu Neunzehnt nur eine kurze Runde durch das Maintal nach Schlömen gemacht, da es nach der Tour zu unserem 1. Grillabend ging. Das Wetter spielte dabei perfekt mit und wir konnten bis nach 10:30 Uhr im T-shirt draussen sitzen.
