Schöne Runde über Vorderthiersee Richtung Landl auf der Landstraße. Trotz Sonntag und schönem Wetter wenig Verkehr. Zurück auf Nebenstraßen über Hinterthiersee nach Kufstein. Die Strecke ist überwiegend auf Teerstraßen. Nur ganz am Anfang von Oberaudorf nach Thiersee ist ein Stück Schotterstraße und nach Gschwent ist die Abfahrt Richtung Kufstein ein Schotterweg mit ein paar steilen Stellen.

An easy hike from Mittenwald to the source of the Isar River. The trail is a wide, well-paved forest road with a steady, gentle climb. There are repeated beautiful views of the Isar River and the Karwendel Mountains. Despite the dark clouds, we were lucky and made it there and back in the dry. 🙂
