The hike on the peninsula near Gustow was a bit "wild" in the sense that I hiked a lot in the wilderness on small or no trails. There are no marked paths here. Lots of forest and small bays make the area vivid and I could get close to the edge of the coastal cliffs. I also saw a sea eagle up close. Rather

The sophisticated buildings and the park in Putbus and the tranquil harbor in Lautenbach offer a beautiful contrast. The coast offers beautiful views of the coast and the island of Vilma. The coastal road towards Neuendorf is almost like the coast in Southern France on the Mediterranean.

Even today, there was a strong wind, but I think that's allowed by the sea 😄. It was a beautiful route through Stralsund, always along the Sund, over the Rügendamm with a detour to Dänholm. Upon arrival in Altefähr, the wait for the ferry was worth it. From the water, you have the most beautiful view of the city's skyline.

It was a great route across the fields to Gut Nisdorf with a section along the coast via the Ostseeradweg (Baltic Sea Cycle Route).
On the way there, the wind was very strong, which felt like an uphill climb.
I was rewarded by watching the windsurfers and the tailwind back towards Stralsund.
