I came back from Wolkenstein today. I gave the Seceda to me today with my junior (19) after a successful Sella Ronda MTB (orange). And in the word "given" is the characteristic of this tour. No question about a great video from Marius which also animated us to this round. Unfortunately I had to put this tour in my drawer for "bad sinners".
The tour starts really nice and lovely through the nature park and promises a lot. But then it meanders through the forest with really nasty stitches that demand a lot from you physically and mentally (you think it might stop). When you have left the tree line, you will be guided over the ski slopes with even steeper concrete lanes. A few pushing passages were then necessary.
At the top of the summit cross we unfortunately had the same bad luck as Marius with the view. So that we followed the route relatively quickly. Which is not recommended! Because this trail is very popular with hiking. Not a nice feeling when you have to "ask / excuse" your way every time.
After a well-deserved stop at the hut, the descent. On which my junior almost stoned me. My junior (bio-enduro biker / student in Innsbruck) belongs to the category "If-already-hard-driveway-then-hard-descent (from S2)". The wide forest roads were not forgiving and the last few kilometers of asphalt have finally let the repetition factor drop to zero (rather -10) for him.
So that was my / our impression. We’ll be excited to see how others (bio-bikers) experience it. I would be particularly interested in the experiences of e-bikers from the trail from the cross to the Troier hut.
Many greetings from the Inn valley near Rosenheim. Stefan.
